Architecture in Chora

Walking around Mykonos I came to the realization that art doesn’t just mean a painting or a sculpture. Art can mean anything that you are able to appreciate for its beauty. This could mean anything, the architecture of the white and blue buildings in Mykonos, the monuments around the city or even just the beauty of nature. In the town of Chora, I just walked down the streets appreciating the beauty of the buildings and the cobblestone roads. The buildings were all very similar but unique in their own way, most of them were white with blue detailing.

In Mykonos, when walking around in the town there was a clothing shop and I don't know exactly what it was about it, but everything about the outside of the shop was aesthetically pleasing. There were other shop doors and residence doors that were very artsy and good places to take those artsy pictures. These doors were quite intriguing and were all different from one another.

Mykonos is by far one of the most beautiful places in the world and when you leave you will want to already start planning your next trip. When you really focus on the artistic elements of the city then you are able to see the city from a different perspective and really appreciate the beauty of the city.
