It's Paradise at Paradise Beach

Mykonos, Greece is known for its parties, beaches and night clubs. In the perfect weather Paradise Beach is the place to definitely visit for some fun.

The beach and restaurants are a three-minute walk from the drop-off point. The first bar when entering the beach is the famous Tropicana Beach Bar, where you can order drinks, food or relax by the beach and listen to some of the hottest DJs in Mykonos. If you continue walking right of Tropicana Beach Bar there are restaurants where you have the option of authentic Greek cuisine or more Americanized food like burgers and fries.

There is a bar at the end of Paradise Beach referred to as “The Pink Bar” because of its accents of pink. The music selections at this bar were the best because of its variety of genres. They play Hip-hop, R&B, Latin music and Electronic Dance Music (music everyone could enjoy). In addition to the music is its selections of buy one get one free cocktails that are sure to raise your eyebrows. The drinks had names like “Your Place or Mine” and “Sex on the Beach.”

This beach is perfect for an all day excursion. You can head out for the beach at 2 p.m. to eat and lounge about and as the sun begins to set it turns into the ultimate beach party. At 10 p.m. “The Pink Bar” has body painting and the paint glows under the UV lights. It also has a stage where people can get up and dance.

Paradise Beach is a good choice for nudists because it is socially acceptable and allowed. It is about 30 minutes outside of Mykonos town. You can get there by taxi, costing approximately 15 to 40 euro from town. You could drive there if you rent a scooter or car and the most economical option, which is taking the public transport costing you 1,60 euro from the bus stop in town. The bus stop can be found behind Mykonos Town, which is approximately a five-minute walk from the Windmills.

The bus leaves every 15 minutes after the hour to get to Paradise Beach.The last public bus leaves at 8:30 p.m. from the bus stop outside the beach but if you aren’t ready to go home you can take a taxi from the beach back to your hotel and the bigger the group the cheaper the taxi fare is for each person.
