Inez, an Australian native of Greek descent, moved to the island 20 years ago and never looked back. She claims to hate her Australian accent, but it's a welcomed change from the norm of the island. Shopping for jewelry is a must in Santorini, and her shop is definitely one to visit while here. Her shop is filled with eclectic pieces that embody her style and the island. Her personality and liveliness shows the moment you start talking to her, and the way she speaks about the pieces she sells makes you want to buy them all.

Among these pieces are a collection of designs by a designer she calls “Alexander.” She’s the only person he sells to on the island, and she usually has to beg him to replenish her supply. “He’s lazy,” she claims. Alexander comes to Santorini and takes rocks and sand from the volcano to create these black works of art. However, it wasn't until years after she started buying from him did she find out he got the sand and rock from the very island she was living on! She laughed off the ironic coincidence, as just another part of the craziness of life.
Inez explains the difference between the pieces made with volcanic sand and rock. According to her, the sand pieces have very little depth, whereas the ones made of the rock are much thicker.
