The food options in Santorini are endless! You can enjoy traditional greek food, pizza, Indian and Italian... just to name a few. But if you are looking to limit the amount of money you spend while on the beautiful island, consider buying groceries from a local market. This is a unique opportunity to save money and at the same time you can try greek snacks! While you may not have access to a kitchen while staying on the island, you can pick-up some snacks and fruit to get you through the day and limit the amount of money spent eating out.

While staying in Santorini it is recommended that you do not drink the tap water. It's definitely a weird concept to use a bottle of water to brush your teeth, but unless you want to get sick, you have to. The store also has 6-packs of water bottles for 2.50 euro each, which is a great deal especially since you shouldn't be drinking tap water while staying on the island. Grabbing a pack of water and keeping it in your hotel room is another tip for saving money while on the island. Many restaurants charge at least a euro for a bottle of water during a meal if not more. So, buying a pack and bringing one with you each day, will save you from having to spend money on water during meals.
