Paris, Milan, London and New York City: the four fashion capitals of the world. Most people identify Paris as the main fashion hub. This is because of the plethora of designers to be based out of France. This list includes the fashion houses of Chanel, Dior, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Ricci, Louis Vuitton, and many more!
French citizens are not the only ones who know how to dress chic, the tourists who visit this city know to dress their best too. This study abroad student from University of Connecticut wore her most stylish outfits while in Paris for the weekend. Amanda, who is originally from Chicago, is studying abroad in Florence, Italy this summer.

You can see how beautiful her dress looks with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
Amanda was lounging around in the Champ de Mars, a large grassy area surrounding the Eiffel Tower. This iconic structure located in Paris, France was originally used as the entrance to the World's Fair in 1889. It was named after Gustave Eiffel, who owned the company that built and designed it. The French people were not big fans of this tower when it was built, because they did not approve of the design. However, the Eiffel Tower quickly became a symbol of France. Amanda has been to Paris one time before; however, it was cold and dark, so she did not get the full experience. She decided to come back to be able to lie out in the warmth.

The weather in Paris has been hot and sunny. This makes it the perfect time to break out your light summer dresses! Amanda kept herself cool with this open-backed floral dress from Urban Outfitters. You can never go wrong with florals, especially when sitting underneath the Eiffel Tower! Blue and green are directly next to each other on the color wheel, making them the perfect colors to contrast with one another. The green stands out beautifully against the dark blue of the dress. This cute and casual outfit is perfect for any day exploring your favorite city.

Comfortable shoes are always a great option when you are walking around all day. She bought these stylish, yet comfortable shoes from Von Maur in Chicago. Sneakers are the best choice, because they will protect your feet much more than sandals will. Because the athleisure trend is so popular, wearing sneakers with a cute outfit is no longer socially unacceptable.

Amanda's sunglasses are a great addition to any outfit.
The best finishing touch to your outfit are your sunglasses! The oversized vintage 61's are the perfect accessory. These sunglasses are the only piece of jewelry Amanda added to her outfit. Oversized sunglasses are the newest trend. Trendsetters such as Kourtney Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, and Selena Gomez are rocking this style. Not only are they fashionable, but they are also protective. These shades will defend your eyes against the suns harsh rays, while keeping your look cool.
